Uniformity is engineered, not adjusted on site.
Playing surfaces are judged on uniformity. We select sprinklers on operating pressure, spacing and manufacturer performance data, check precipitation rate and distribution uniformity, and schedule around play.

The opportunity
Every head, including the farthest and highest, at design pressure.
Sprinkler selection, spacing and pressure are fixed on paper against the manufacturer’s performance tables. Then the pump, mainline and valves are sized to deliver that pressure at every head.
The surface, usage hours and water source set the design — a natural-turf cricket outfield and a hybrid football pitch are different hydraulic problems.
